Queensbay Mall, It’s All Happening Here!
Once upon a time, in a not so far away Shopping Mall on an island known as the Pearl of the Orient, there were Little Princesses from aged 5 to 10 years old that came to grace the Mall for a Grand Pageant in search of the Ultimate Little Princess. With their magic and charms, the Little Princesses contended fairly and claimed what is rightfully theirs, but only one of them will survived the title and be crowned as the “Q-Kids Club Little Princess 2009”.
From The Latinos, Salsa Little Princess to The Land of the Sea, Little Mermaid Princess, the spectators were bedazzled by the arrival of the princesses in their glorious gowns and glittering jewelries to the Q-Kids’ Courtyard on the 2nd Floor South Zone Link Bridge of the Mall, with each one showing up more astonishing and grander than the last.
Oh! Do they have the gift of the gab? Yes, the Little Princesses took turn to go onto the stage as prompted by Benjamin, the Court’s Jester aka ‘MC’, to address their fellow citizens of the Mall with a welcome speech and to highlight their grand performances and extraordinary talent of which they have been bestowed upon. All had the intention to bewitch the citizens and the three wise judges before the day is over. With Oooohhh and Aaaaahhhh from the citizens, the Little Princesses honorably took their places in turns to cast their spell with their talent! What was really remarkable and amazing to note was the passion, courage and ‘Can Do’ attitude in them!
The competition proved to be a tough one as each Little Princess fearlessly confronted their contender with so much grace and determination to top each other’s magic and talent with even more spectacular skills like never before.
The wise judges whom were the Duchesses from the Beauty & Fashion Circle namely, Orders of ‘D’Trend Hair Saloon & Academy’ and ‘Beezelment’ and the Duke from one of the Herald of the Land which was ‘News Straits Times’, had an equally hard time to choose the best and most deserving Little Princess for the crowning of the title. During the short break and after much heated discussion and debate, the wise judges finally agreed on the one!
The Court’s Jester proclaimed the 3rd Prize reward & winnings to Little Princess Tan Yi Ying (Aged 10) from Jugglers’ & Clown Town with her winning acrobatic acts of head over heel and magic of bringing wide smiles to the faces of the citizens and little children.
The 2nd Prize went to Little Fairy Princess Jennifer Teh (Aged 7), who bewitched the wise judges with her hula hoop skill, ribbon-dancing and sensational vocals! No doubt, the Fairyland Princess is multi-talented.
She had indeed stupefied all with her fiery, flaming and exotic dance from Bollywood, India.
Duchess Kelly Tan, the organizer and Lady of the Grand Pageant proudly presented the trophy, gifts and cash reward to Little Bollywood Princess Melissa Lee (Aged 9).
For the rest of the Little Princesses who came to contend, none were at loss when everyone received their tokens of gifts and souvenirs, not just for their great talent and magic but for their show of Bravery, Courage and Heart of Pure Gold – which are the essential ingredients for a REAL LITTLE PRINCESS!

All well ends well, it is another delightful day ending at Q-Kids’ Courtyard at Queensbay Mall!
