Penang – Citibank credit cardholders in Penang are in for another treat with the launch of the Citibank Queensbay Mall Mania 2008 campaign. The New Year promotion, which runs from January 15 to May 18, offers an exciting array of prizes and money saving discounts at more than 60 participating outlets.

“This year, the Citibank Queensbay Mall Mania promotion is going the extra mile to give every customer a shopping experience not to be forgotten. We have mall specials ranging from mall-wide credit card usage contest, great discounts and privileges, on-the-spot rewards redemption to guaranteed gifts.

“This is certainly the ‘real’ deal,” said Muzir Kassim, Vice President, Cards Acquisition and Product Management, Citibank Berhad.

Muzir said exclusive discounts and offers are available at participating merchant outlets such as Lazo Diamond, Shoe Point Sdn Bhd, Bum & Diesel, My Tie Shop, Gaagoo Kids, Johnny’s Restaurant, Siam Express, Haagen Dazs, The Body Shop and many more.

To enter the mall-wide credit card contest, card members need only spend RM50 and above on a single receipt, which will entitle them to one entry. The receipt and contest entry form must be placed in a drop box provided at the Citibank Queensbay Mall Mania 2008 booth. Each successful new card applicant is eligible to submit ten entries to the contest.

Prizes for the contest include a Volkswagen Cross Polo worth RM 125,000; five attractive units of Phillips 37″ LCD TVs, 20 units of Philips Home Theater Systems; 30 units of the Philips Micro HiFi Systems and 100 units of the Philips Mini Vac Cleaners.

Citibank credit cardholders are also guaranteed one instant gift from the Citibank counter when they make a minimum RM200 credit card purchase in a single receipt at any outlet in Queensbay Mall during the weekend. A total of 100 gifts will be given away to customers each day.

For convenience, cardholders can also redeem their reward points on the spot for selected Philips items every weekend during the campaign.
