‘Art & Craft Week’ kicks off at Queensbay Mall on Wednesday Feb 27, 2008 offering Queensbay Mall shoppers wonderful mall shopping of fanciful and delightful handicrafts as well as the opportunity to indulge in a new hobby i.e. learn how to make embroider a quilt, create beautiful clay crafts, knitting and more.

It is never too late, nor too old to try something new; some of these new hobbies of handicrafts making may even become a profitable business. Ms. Corine Shah, whom showcase her embroidered quilts during Queensbay Mall ‘Art & Craft Week’, holds classes to teach interested and keen individuals on how to make beautiful embroider quilts. Her lessons are only for a nominal fee of RM150. Beautiful and good quality quilts can fetch up to a good price of RM1,500.
Also come and check out cute Coconut Shells handicrafts up for sell, they are bound to tickle your fancy! Food craving is also one of the highlight of the week, with special invited Chef from a local resorts coming by to the honour to demonstrate to shoppers of Queensbay Mall. The ‘Art & Craft’ Week is planned to a a monthly event to showcase local and interesting (even unusual) handicrafts making and selling. There is something for everyone in the familly. Definitely not a week to missed out! ‘Art & Craft Week’ booths are set and clustered at 1st Floor concourse of North Zone (outside Maybank).
